5 volcanos, genuine civilisations and a unique fauna on Galapagos

The smallest Andean country on the equator fascinates us with its great variety of landscapes, animal kingdoms and civilisations. This exceptional trip offers participants a genuine and close experience of all three aspects.

Together with Reno Roman (flash www.hostaltoa.ec), an English speaking Ecuadorian UIAGM-qualified mountain guide who will give us a thorough understanding of the culture and way of life of the Indios, we climb the graceful volcanos Fuya Fuya 4263m, Imbabura 4550m, Ruminahui 4630m and Iliniza norte 5126m. Now we are fully acclimatised to tackle the ascent of Cotopaxi, with its 5897m the climax of the whole trip.

Our journey ends with a relaxing three-day excursion to the mysterious green region of the Amazon River.
From the eternal white snowfields and the cold down into the lush vegetation of the rain forest with its humid-warm climate – the contrast couldn’t be more extreme! The indescribable power and dimension of plants and trees is overwhelming.

Following this trip you have the opportunity to visit the unique Unesco Natural World Heritage Reservation of Galapagos – of course also organised by us.
Accompanied by a local guide we explore this extraordinary world of animals and plants on various islands.
