The beauty of the various landscapes, the unique flora and fauna, all the cultural treasures as well as the warm-hearted encounters with local people make a deep impression on me again and again. That’s why I have been touring South America for more than 12 years, either with guests or on my own.

There is always another side to journeys to second (and third) world countries. On all my trips I have always worked closely together with the local population. For them it means work and income and we, in return, get the opportunity to come into close contact with the people and their mentality.
